Pia Jones
Hi, I’m Pia — a Clinical and Health Psychologist with a deep belief in the power of integrative care. My approach weaves together evidence-based psychology, mind–body health, and a warm, person-centred connection to help people feel seen, supported, and empowered.
I work with adults and older adolescents (16+) navigating anxiety, mood changes, burnout, disordered eating, grief, trauma, and other challenges that often stem from overwhelming life experiences, whether that’s stress, loss, health issues, or feeling misunderstood in the world.
I’m especially passionate about supporting neurodivergent individuals, including those exploring life with ADHD or on the autism spectrum. I take a strengths-based, neuro-affirming and attachment-informed approach that honours your individuality.
In sessions, I draw on a range of therapeutic modalities including CBT, ACT, EMDR, mindfulness-based approaches and somatic approaches, Schema Therapy, and the Gottman Method to assist individuals in relational distress, always tailored to your needs.
Outside of my private practice work, I also work within authorised, psychiatrist-led psychedelic-assisted therapy programs, where my role is to provide psychological support before, during and after medicine-based treatment. This work occurs entirely within approved medical frameworks and is separate from the services I offer in private practice. It deepens my understanding of trauma, integration, and nervous system processes, which informs how I support clients in trauma-focused psychological therapy.
This broader perspective sits alongside my background in nutrition and herbal medicine. With a special interest in the link between physical health, lifestyle, and emotional wellbeing, I’m an advocate for truly holistic care. I’m committed to walking alongside you with curiosity, compassion, and care as we explore what wellness looks like for you.
At the heart of my work is this: that you feel heard, safe, and supported to move toward clarity, connection, and meaningful change.
